Events

When we say that we encourage knowledge-sharing, we don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk. We’re passionate about sharing our experiences and listening to others do the same. Testing is still a young profession and the way to maturity is through innovation, discussion and debates, not standards and proprietary methods. Ideas that we develop, we share. When we share them, they become stronger. If you want to meet us for a chat, this is where you’ll find us.

Public Rapid Software Testing Class (Michael Bolton/James Bach)
Mar 1 – Mar 3 all-day
This is the second edition of the 3-day Rapid Software Testing Class with James Bach & Michael Bolton. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity because although both James and Michael teach the RST class individually, they rarely do it together. This will be a very special and highly dynamic class.

Here are the event details
Dates: Wednesday, 1 March to Friday, 3 March 2017 (3 days, 09:00 to 17:00)
Costs per participant: CHF 2’400 (includes 3-day class, coffee breaks and lunches, excl. VAT)

When someone tosses you a program and says “you have one hour to test this” can you do it? Are you confident in your work? Can you explain what you did and why?

This unique 3-day course introduces you to Rapid Software Testing, the skill of testing any software, any time, under any conditions, such that your work stands up to scrutiny. Based on the ideas of James Bach, Michael Bolton, and Cem Kaner, with substantial contributions by other members of the Context-Driven School of software testing, this is the closest thing in the business to a martial art of software testing. Because we emphasize exercises, it is challenging for experienced testers, but works for new testers, too. This course provides hands-on demonstrations and drills as well as portable heuristics that help you create tests quickly.
